Lake Champlain Chamber Music Festival
Burlington, VT, USA
Our Interns work closely with the Executive Director and Festival Manager to support all events and activities of our 9-day music festival. Interns get hands-on experience producing and managing a music festival and learn about arts administration and chamber music from the inside. The Lake Champlain Chamber Music Festival has been proud to welcome interns from local colleges, universities, and from around the country.
We are always looking for new applicants for our summer internship program. We are looking for someone who can work independently and as part of a team and is interested in learning about arts administration and chamber music. Prior experience with classical music and event production is desirable. This is primarily an administrative position, with interns reporting to the Festival Senior Staff.

Marlboro Music is widely considered to be the world’s leading center for the in-depth exploration of chamber music by outstanding professional musicians. Each year, the Ojai Music Festival Arts Management Internship Program welcomes a dozen college students and recent graduates to go behind the scenes of a renowned summer music festival. Interns work closely with the staff and production team, providing critical support and simultaneously gaining invaluable hands-on experience and skills for their future careers.

All Classical Radio
Portland, OR, USA
Over a 6 month period, interns will spend 8-12 hours per week assisting both All Classical Radio and International Children’s Arts Network (ICAN) staff with a wide variety of tasks related to broadcasting processes and procedures. Interns will find themselves up close and personal with a full-time, listener-supported classical music broadcasting operation.Over a 6 month period, interns will spend 8-12 hours per week assisting both All Classical Radio and International Children’s Arts Network (ICAN) staff with a wide variety of tasks related to broadcasting processes and procedures. Interns will find themselves up close and personal with a full-time, listener-supported classical music broadcasting operation.
Duties will include:
Blog writing and editing
Collaborating with staff on social media and web based projects
Assisting with fundraising and community engagement events
Working with Host and Producer Sarah Zwinklis on ICAN related content and projects, including audio editing and production
Fulfilling web maintenance requests made by staff and listeners, including upkeep of All Classical Radio’s online events calendar
Attending staff meetings and monthly brainstorm sessions with staff
Other duties as assigned
Internships are paid roles, and are approximately 24 weeks long, spanning January through June or July through December. INTERNSHIPS
Primo Artists’ Internship program has a primary focus on promotional marketing. Interns are required to study our exclusive educational video modules throughout the program, and are responsible to regularly submit reports of their distinctions. Interns are expected to attend weekly remote team meetings led by the President and Senior Managers where they learn about the ins and outs of the music business. Interns have the opportunity throughout the program to apply their acquired knowledge to a wide range of tasks to gain a deeper understanding of the music business and the components of artist management and social media work.
